If you were to Google “Best Daily Routines” you would find things like; get enough sleep, rise early, meditate daily, workout, eat a good breakfast, etc. Though my daily routine has shifted quite a bit since we’ve been quarantining, one thing I've kept consistent is a matcha every morning. My favorite brand right now is Matcha Konomi. Their Akira powder is organic, ceremonial grade and has a lovely well rounded flavor and a vibrant bright green appearance. As if that isn’t enough to make you want to try it, Matcha Konami is also a women owned and women-led company! They offer both ceremonial grade and culinary grade matcha. In the warmer months I prefer my matcha iced with water, but once the temperature starts to change, I tend to crave a warm drink and opt for matcha lattes with almond milk.
If you are like me, you are probably familiar with the ritual of taking a few sips of a hot comforting morning drink only to succumb to the distraction of the day to then return to luke warm drink. It's still drinkable, but it's not the same. Ember has come up with the best invention - a temperature controlled mug!
